Rehearsals are underway for a tremendous season including classics by Rossini, Respighi, Rachmaninoff, Dvorak, Debussy, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Copland and also Joanna Brouk, Ulric Cole, Margaret Bonds and Florence Price!

Lansdowne Symphony wins National Award
The orchestra is the first-prize winner of The American Prize in Orchestral Performance. The American Prize is the nation's most comprehensive series of contests in the performing arts.
The orchestra won for its ground-breaking premiere recordings of works by American composers Priscilla Beach (1902-70), Linda Robbins Coleman and Alexandra Pierce (1934-2021), in collaboration with the Free Library of Philadelphia's Fleisher Collection of Orchestral Music, New Focus Recordings and Naxos.
